Dosbarth Dau have really been enjoying listening to Welsh Stories from ‘Amser Stori Atebol’ online. We have surprised ourselves with how much of the story we understand, by listening out for key words and using the illustrations to help us 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿📖

We have had another super busy day focusing on Welsh Language Oracy, Reading and Writing skills. Our favourite activity was Speed Writing, ‘Camera Clic’ 📷✍️😃

We incorporated Welsh Week and World Book Day today by reading the Welsh Myth of ‘Branwen’ 📚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚔️ After reading and discussing the story, we sequenced the story in our books. Gwaith da pawb 👍🏼

We have had lots of fun for World Book Day 📚😃

We used our own questions from yesterdays Literacy session to hot seat the character Duncan from our class story, ‘The Day the crayons quit’ 🪑 🖍 ✉️ We used a range of; who, what, where, when, why and how question starters. Da iawn pawb 😊👍🏼

We had lots of fun this afternoon working in our groups and using Google Earth to locate different towns, cities and villages in Wales 🌎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 We even located our own houses! 🏠😃

We had lots of fun making superhero masks to celebrate Comic Relief 🦸 A fantastic day for a fantastic cause 🔴

Taking our maths learning of 2-D shapes this week outside for outdoor learning ☀️🔺🟣🟦

We really enjoyed listening to ‘Somebody crunched Colin’ by Sarah Roberts as part of “The Great Big Schools Clean with Keep Britain Tidy” ♻️ 📖

We had a few special visitors today 🐶🦁 Pob Lwc Andy and the rest of the C2Cycling team on your charity bike ride from Cardiff Castle to Edinburgh Castle 🏰 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🚴
