It's #YouthWorkWeek24 hosted by NYA, aiming to raise awareness of the difference youth workers have on young people aged between 8 - 25. This year #YWW24 is focussing on the accessibility & inclusivity of youth work & how all young people deserve to take part in it.

We started #YWW24 with our art on the wards session, supported by Southampton Hospitals Charity and facilitated by SouthamptonCC Gallery learning team. A great example of ensuring creative activity is accessible to all, and an opportunity for teenagers to connect. Southampton Children's Hospital

Every young person deserves access to safe spaces, trusted adults, and enriching activities. We welcome the Government’s commitment to a new youth strategy but urge clarity and support for youth sector funding, especially with the NCS closure in 2025. The Government must protect
