As a pastor, when people tell me they pray for me every day (I hear it often), 1. I wholeheartedly believe them. 2. I'm deeply humbled and thankful. 3. I am moved to pray for them. 4. I selfishly(?) ask God to tend to their prayers, because I need them.

From my own experience being ministered *to*, I can say this is true. If you can prick the conscience, madness or mercy follows.
