The pupils used so many maths skills to complete this work. Love it when I don't realise how just rich a task is until the children start it!

A perfect example of how questioning can extend a simple task. When they were familiar with the process we made circuses with 10 acts. Some pupils were able to suggest how many acts we would need in our circus to avoid simplifying- demonstrating their knowledge of prime numbers.

We hadn't heard of the Bebras UK challenge before but 3 classes entered this year. We found it a great way of practicing so many workplace relevant skills. #bebras #mathsandnumeracy #computing #challenging #logic

Our 4th year taking part in the [email protected] Challenge as a class. Pupils past and present are incredibly fortunate to have had these opportunities thanks to @IETeducation and I'm delighted to hear that we'll be competing against some of our past pupils in the regional comp this year!
