We began exploring measurement in grade 3/4 St. Joseph Elementary School Brampton today. With the help of @PearsonMathology we were able to identify personal referents to help us estimate lengths around the room. Finger widths, giant steps, and base ten rods helped us measure without rulers. #dpmath

Happily co-taught one of my favourite @PearsonMathology lessons today. Learning about mode and mean in grade 3/4 was all about frog jumps, snap cubes, and great discussion among peers. #dpmath
