As cropping starts to draw to a close, and it continues to stay dry, there’s lots more time for morning smokos, sometimes delivered to site. 👌

Every season is a little different. Same planting date, same variety, same soil type, same nutrition package, but last seasons looks a fair bit better on the same date.

In 38 years, things have changed so much on our farm. It’s mind boggling. I’m really glad someone worked out bigger balers and telehandlers! Wonder what we’ll see in the next generation!?

So a cool thing happened this week. We put on a new staff member. His name is Shammah. He doesn’t mind working long hours. Can’t wait to watch him go to war on some summer weeds!! 🔫🔫 Thanks Calibre Spraying & SwarmFarm Robotics for delivering the dream! 😁

Do you know where your 100s & 1000s come from? Little known fact, it takes 10,000 acres to make 100s & 1000s. #thankafarmerforyournextsugarhigh #agdayau #agday #nationalagday #growyougoodthing #ausag #agchatoz

Does everyone have an old banger that’s been on the farm for about 50 years, and still periodically comes out of retirement to save the day? Give me pictures of them! This loadstar is powered by a 195hp two stroke Detroit and sounds amazing😍

Year two of bulking up a 121 year old wheat variety! We started with 100 seeds and harvested 590 grams. Then sowed the 590 grams and harvested 23.95kg. Not the greatest result, but not the greatest season. Fingers crossed for a couple of tons next season! 😎🌾

When men who have great creativity, and a deep understanding of technology, are left alone long enough, great things happen! 🇦🇺😎

I’ve seen a long term study once where there was continuous wheat grown with no applied N and from memory the yield declined to somewhere around 1T/Ha and remained at that level for pretty much ever. Can anyone help me find it?

This is going to be a game changer for farmers wives! Imagine jumping in the tractor, taking it to the block right up the top of the farm, and a vehicle follows you there to pick you up!! 😎👌

This is happening all across Victoria. I have had numerous messages advising of brigade and groups going "off-line" from.many regions. So sad😢 facebook.com/share/p/16aVfc…
