Shaykh Ibn Taymiyah رحمه الله said: Asking for Allaah’s forgiveness is more important than any other du’aa. [Jami' al-Masa'il 6/277]

Ka'ab رحمه الله said: "Whoever cries due to the fear of a sin, he will be forgiven." [Ar-Riqqatu wal Bukaa Pg. 49]

Whoever slanders ‘Aa’ishah ؓ by accusing her of that of which Allah stated her innocence is a kaafir. [Al-Saarimul-Maslul, 3/1066]

Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله: “From the signs of Allah abandoning a servant, is that He busies him with that which does not concern him.” [Jami’ al-Uloom wal Hikam, 139]

Shaykh Ibn Humayd رحمه الله said: “Allah has obligated Hijab for the women and enjoined upon them to stay in the homes and to not display themselves and to not leave (the house) except due to a necessity, being modest and concealed (from men).” [Al-Durar al-Saniyyah 15/266]

Muawiyah bin Qurrāh رحمه الله said: "Those who will be taken to account most on the Day of Resurrection are those who were healthy and unoccupied." [Al-Mujālasah wa Jawāhir Al-‘Ilm 4:152]

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Patience is that the heart does not feel anger towards that which is destined & that the mouth does not complain." [al-Uddah, Pg. 156]

Abu Huraira reported that: Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever performs ablution in an excellent manner, comes to Friday prayer, and listens while remaining quiet, his sins will be forgiven until the next Friday and an additional three days." [Sahih Muslim 857]

Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله narrated: Music is not a remedy, it is a disease. [Majmū al-Fatāwā, 9/429]

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: "It is from stupidity that you come to the grave of someone who has rotten away and become dust, and call upon and worship him, while he is in need of your supplication!" [AI Qawl al Mufeed 1/11]

Sufyan Al-Thawri رحمه الله said: "There is nothing that corrupts a person or rectifies him more than (his) companion." [Al-Ibanah Al-Kubra, article 504]

Imām Ṭabarī رحمه الله said: “Your Lord is the Concealer who covers the sins of His slaves with His mercy if they repent from them.” [Tafṣīr at-Ṭabarī (v. 18, p. 52)]

Ash-Sha’bī رحمه الله said: “No innovation has been committed in Islām except there is [an āyah] in the Book of Allāh that contradicts it!” [As-Sunnah Li Al-Khallāl: 914]
