Renowned lawyer Eliab Naturinda Mporera has emerged victorious in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries for the Ndorwa West constituency in Kabale District, defeating the incumbent State Minister for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, Hon. David Bahati.

UPDATE: Hon Prossy Akampurira Begumisa has been duly declared as the NRM Flag bearer for Rubanda District Woman. Hon Prossy won by 58% defeating Jacqueline Katabaazi who got 26 % following by Evelyn Ninsiima Kikafunda and Grace Mutebile.

JUST IN: Minister Hon Henry Musasizi re-elected as the Rubanda East Member of Parliament winning with 54.41%. He defeats Jogo Kenneth Biryabarema for second time. Mr Biryabarema scored 45.48%.
