Plenty of people seem to think the officer is in the wrong for parking his motorcycle in this position while dealing with the driver for an offence. The position is deliberate to give advance warning to road users. It's also covered by an exemption in law for emergency vehicles.

So my force has been placed on 12 hrs shifts tomorrow with just shy of 24 hrs notice. That's life as a police officer, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating that you get notified on such short notice, having to cancel plans and make alternative arrangements, etc. 😡
