I grew up in a tiny town. In the late 80s a Vietnam couple moved in. This crazy old racist white neighbour told EVERYONE that they'd steal pet rabbits & dogs for food, taken from an already racist stereotype about Chinese. Was my first experience with racism. Fuck that neighbour.

So I really want to like Plucky Squire but after a few hours of playing… eeeeeeeeeeh.

I’m landing at this probably being my biggest disappointment of the year. I love looking at it, it’s just an absolute drag of a game, and perhaps the biggest sin is the forgettable music.

I absolutely love this game (and Donald Duck in general) and wish I could revive it somehow. Simple but very approachable and charming platformer.

Getting to work on a game featuring one of the greatest classic game composers and one of the greatest modern game composers is pretty surreal. Life’s pretty cool sometimes
