PBTC isn't just about research; it's about strategy. We use 5 main cores (biostatistics, imaging, pharma, genomics and pathology) to enhance every trial we implement.

Trial Alert: PBTC-055 Phase I trial for BRAF or NF1 gliomas in children and young adults is enrolling. This combination harnesses some laboratory work that shows that the addition of the agent HCQ may help overcome the resistance that tumors develop to these targeted therapies.

Trial Alert: PBTC-053 Phase I&II trial for recurrent SHH Medulloblastoma is accruing. CX-4945 is an oral agent that inhibits CK2, an important key to tumor propagation.

Trial Alert: 5.PBTC-051 Phase I Study to evaluate CD40 with pediatric recurrent/refractory brain tumors and newly diagnosed brain stem glioma has slots available. This agent promotes CD40 which is an important regulator of the body’s immune system attack on tumor cells.

Trial Alert: PBTC-047 by Dr. Michelle Monje-Deisseroth for a Phase I Trial of Panobinostat in Children with DIPG. This trial harnesses our understanding of the biology of DIPG to attack the tumor. Accrual ongoing with study completion soon.

1.PBTC-045: A trial of MK-3475 in children with recurrent, progressive or refractory HGG, ependymoma and medulloblastoma is now recruiting. This is an agent that helps activate the body’s own immune system to attack tumor. See our trial finder at pbtcf.org
