A letter from the Superintendent and nine other district administrators from the Cumberland Valley School District to the school community in response to the the school board’s 8-0 decision to cancel Maulik Pancholy’s author visit with the students of Mountain View Middle School.

At least 23 of the 87 books Davis School District has removed or restricted address sexual assault (and that's likely an undercount). By banning books that compassionately address this topic, Utah's sensitive materials law is frankly another form of violence against survivors.
