Plugger The barley rust is likely barley grass stripe rust (BGYr). PBI Cobbitty, University of Sydney identified new BGYr which has increased virulence to some commercial barley varieties. Generally low levels. Check any surrounding barley grass for BGYr. Worth sending sample to cereal rust survey to check.
