Why shifting away from something that works? Keep buildings and road transport at the national level, or citizens will pay the bill instead of polluting companies. And it would not cut more emissions.

Great news to conclude this atypic year: EU commits to reduce GHG by at least 55% by 2030! Let's see know how it will be implemented. It will be key to keep national targets to achieve it, esp. in the law that regulates transport, building, agriculture and waste (60% of EU GHG)

The EU climate policy relies on both market mechanisms (ETS) and national objectives. Both are important to mobilise all possible efforts towards a climate neutral economy. There is a risk that national objectives disappear. To avoid that, please sign the petition!👇
