My Twitter evolution, 2019 - present:

A few times a year I have reason to do a super long road trip - 12+ hours. I kinda do the same thing. Pick a topic, find every podcast, interview, or short audiobook I can on the subject. Binge. Surprisingly effective.

Testing a hypothesis. How old are you, and when you back up a vehicle, do you use the camera or your mirrors to navigate?

The difference of a nearby person speaking with another human, vs. being on their speakerphone, is so stark. One sound blends, the other pierces. I say we all pay a $10 surcharge for our next phone, and pool the money to come up with a more pleasant sounding phone speaker.

My youngest is about to turn 18, so I feel I can give some fatherly advice to all the young parents: Yes, family time is great. But 1:1 time with each child is massively underrated. Prioritize that time, you won’t regret it.

The best products endure. Dawn dish soap is one that is beloved in our house, just like in my grandma's house. We use it on everything. Oreos, Legos, the same. Consistent and simple quality. That should be the goal of every product or service builder.

Having a vehicle shipped. First time doing this. I had no idea that industries with so many middlemen still existed.

E-bikes on bike trails are a big topic of debate in my neck of the woods. I think it is a pretty simple definition.

Your periodic reminder: Twitter doesn’t reward accuracy. It rewards clicks. The more outrageous and provocative you are, the more you earn. Keep that in mind when you’re scrolling.

Always keep in mind, the algorithm (here, TikTok, Youtube, etc.) will show you whatever it knows you want to see. Beware of the echo chamber.

Advice I got from a former boss that has proved invaluable: I asked, "How in the world do you get so much done?" He said, "Never be the bottleneck." When you work with a team, making sure nothing is waiting on you is over half the battle.

On Thursdays, an empty airport gate is officially more relaxing than a crowded airline club.
