There is something about holy communion that we are missing. Otherwise we would be partaking of it daily like the New Testament Christians.

Firstly we need an understanding of what holy communion is. The bread and the wine represent the body and blood of Jesus: food and drink.

Holy communion is nourishment for our spirit. The life of Christ in us must be fed, otherwise it will be weak. Give us our daily bread.
