Standing to be Hamble Valley’s MP but now standing to be the Police Commissioner… how can he really care for the Hamble Valley if he’s already applying for another job. Opportunistic and not putting his constituency first. Just what we’d expect from the Lib Dem’s.

Just visited The Mercury Library and Community Hub in Hamble. The dedicated team I met, including Chris, Annie, Joan, Elaine and Jackie run a fantastic local service for those who want to access the hub for activities or just a coffee and a chat. Good initiative funded by EBC.

Out meeting residents in #HambleValley in Park Gate with hardworking Cllrs Ian Bastable and Simon Martin, we are out every week and the feedback on the excellent Conservative Council was very good.

My heartfelt best wishes to HRH The Princess of Wales on her announcement tonight. We all wish her a speedy recovery. Cancer is a disease that affects everyone and anyone and we must defeat it. I know she will.

The Southampton Blue Cross rejoining centre is based in Fair Oak where I visited today to discuss the electric shock collar ban and XL Bully ban. How I didn’t leave with Sully the poodle X is beyond me!

It was great to visit the HQ of the National Air Traffic Service (NATS) in Whiteley, which are based in the new #HambleValley constituency. It was good to tour and visit the air traffic controllers and the London City Airport Control Room based at NATS. youtube.com/watch?v=_jr6Ly…

It was good to meet residents of Leafy Lane in Whiteley with Flick Drummond MP to discuss the inappropriate placing of a communications mast right by a proposed school and the houses on the street. Whiteley falls into the Hamble Valley constituency where I will be standing.

A huge thank you to the newly opened Fountain Community Cafe in Fair Oak for the invitation. Great to meet Ryan and Bethan who served great coffee and cake. If you’re in Fair Oak go and visit!
