Remember Charlotte’s talk at #MoLA2024? Her incredible work on pitch discrimination in autistic children with unexpected bilingualism (acquired through screen exposure) was just published in Autism Research! Congrats Dumont Charlotte & Marie Belenger onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/au…

Do brain earrings finally make me a neuroscientist? #fnirs2024 Society for functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy NIRx Medical Tech. fNIRS2024

It’s often reported that autistic adults have higher pitched voices than NT. We replicate this for men, but also find that autistic women have lower pitched voices than NT ones. This asymmetric difference could be due to lower gender stereotypes in autism journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11…

Helen Helen Tager-Flusberg and I teamed up with NIRx Medical Tech. to host a very special application-focused workshop on the use of fNIRS in autism research! Join us on September 19 & 20 2025 at Boston University! Register here: eventbrite.com/e/fnirs-in-act…
