I successfully defended my dissertation today! It has been both a scholarly and personal journey. The girl who was once afraid to try new things has grown into a more confident and resilient person. Thank you all for being there for me every step of the way!!!

It is such an honor to receive the Award for Mentoring Undergraduates in Research. I am grateful to all the undergraduates I’ve had the privilege to mentor, as well as to those who have mentored me. I am thrilled to share that all of my undergrads will be attending grad schools!
