Three functions left to document - just doing the high score table gubbins then we're done! Let's see if we can't get it reassembling from source :o)

Not bad, 6 evenings' work. That's Chuckie Egg fully documented, re-assembling and running. A bit more tidy up, turning some magic numbers into EQUates and we're done. I've already added flags to turn off the music and Fuller Orator Speech!

Ooo! That one caught me out - entering my name on the high scores - no keyboard input. Chuckie uses the ROM routines for just name entry and I didn't have the Z80 in IM1 (or even enabled!)

The creator of Chuckie Egg, Nigel Alderton, from the outstanding "Rubber Keyed Wonder" documentary. It put me in the right mind set for taking the code apart and putting it back together. Check the documentary out - it's wonderful. youtube.com/watch?v=4erIAN…

What the heck, I'm on a roll... A couple of hours into my first 128K RE project. A third Joffa classic (and as hard as nails!)

Did a bit of a cleanup on the Cobra source code - added some cheat EQUates, clustered a bunch of data together and spotted a couple of places not directly referencing labels, which could've caused chaos with any code moving around! A lovely piece of code. github.com/Paulie68000/ZX…
