Sad to read of the passing of Mary Dickinson of Lincoln, a teacher who devoted much of her time in retirement to exonerating Ed Poindexter and Mondo we Langa for the booby-trap bomb killing of an Omaha police officer in 1970. Incredible dedication to a cause.

New polling has independent Senate candidate Dan Osborn neck and neck with his Republican opponent in Nebraska. We covered Dan's story in May. He's a union worker who is open about his determination to fight for the working class. He could shock the GOP in November.

Let’s be clear: This is illegal and unconstitutional. The American people had voted. The courts had ruled. The Electoral College had met and voted. The Governor in every state had certified the results and sent a legal slate of electors to the Congress to be counted. The Vice

NEW: Days after NE Secretary of State Robert Evnen certified a ballot measure seeking to repeal private school scholarships, he now “is convinced the referendum is not legally sufficient,” per a legal brief his office filed. He asks Nebraska’s Supreme Court to compel him to remove it from the ballot.

Goodness, I didn't realize the case got argued TODAY. It was taken up on Thursday, briefing ordered over the weekend, and arguments today. Folks, this is no way to do state constitutional litigation. And Bob throwing this fuel on the fire, citing nothing but vibes, is gross.
