On my first visit to #Jyväskylä! Highly interesting exchanges with Mayor @tkoivisto_jkl, Rector Magnificus Ojala and Prof Lähteenmäki University of Jyväskylä, the Accelarator Laboratory JYFL Accelerator Laboratory as well as the local🇨🇭business community. Lots of ideas on how to intensify our relations.

Towards the 2024 🇪🇺 #nuclear physics long-range plan! Coordinators of the Thematical Working Groups & their #NuPECC Liaisons (nupecc.org/index.php?disp…) met with #NuPECC at #GSI (FAIR GSI - @[email protected]) between February 7-9, 2024 for productive discussions of their respective chapters.
AKA FIRI – Finnish Research Infrastructures funding allowed us to construct a rail system to move the JUROGAM3 system of detectors between measurement positions in a matter of hours. The procedure previously took weeks due to the need to remove bias and anneal the detectors. Efficiency! JYFL Accelerator Laboratory #JYUnique
