They're coming for our neighbours and our friends - the nurses, the bus drivers, the brickies and the plumbers ... Farage is a plastic patriot who wants to deport your workmates and friends who came here legally...

The migration bidding war makes it clear anyone who is not a British national is now facing a significantly increased threat of deportation. Given the number of people with friends, partners, colleagues, etc in that position, I'm not sure it's being thought through politically.

Who is Farage seeking to throw out? Your child's teacher, the nurse caring for you, the plumber fixing your pipes, your bus driver or friendly cafe worker? #MigrantsWelcome ft.com/content/4e1641…

Tell us Nigel. How much will it cost? a) to deport the millions of people you're purporting? b) how will you fill the millions of vacancies that you'll create by doing so? c) what detriment to the GDP of the country will it have to lose such a massive portion of the workforce?

Karoline Leavitt says Trump saved the Ryder Cup golf match between the US and Europe. He said it would not be happening this weekend without him even though it has been played since 1927 somehow without his involvement.

Some confusion. So let's be clear. People who have come here, worked for years, played by the rules, don’t live on welfare, speak perfect English, have never committed a crime and have fully integrated with their communities will all have their status revoked under Reforms plan.

#trevorphillips If nothing else, Keir Starmer this were MUST look&sound like a prime minister in power NOT resemble the leader of an Opposition party challenging a Farage/Reform government

Data from the Office of National Statistics shows Londoners are less likely to be violent crime victims (26.4 offences per 1,000 pop) than the rest of England & Wales (31.9 offences). Violent crime has fallen in every London borough in the past year.

#StrictlyComeDancing Show has lost its raison d'etre with contestants with pro West End musical backgrounds allowed and judges expressing faux surprise at their progress. What happened to original concept of non dancer celebs only? So many former fans I know turning off.

#PoliticsLive Some of us argued pre election there was no need to invite straitjacket of not increasing income tax, VAT, employee NI, the most straightforward tax revenue raisers. Given Tories were doomed to lose and those would be easier to explain to public than most.

If royal titles now depend on behaviour not bloodline, the hereditary principle is finished. Prince Andrew's cancellation may turn out to be the beginning of the end for our constitutional monarchy.

The Prime Minister is now coming under increasing pressure to remove Prince Andrew from the line of succession to make sure that he never becomes king But is it up to Starmer to have a role in stripping him from the line of succession? ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…

The UK’s post-Brexit payments to the EU will top £50billion. We’ve already paid £44billion since leaving in 2020 (ONS). Another £8billion is due. This is the exit deal the useless Tories negotiated. At the time they denied it would even be £40billion. Some of us pointed out it

I love the fact that people are debating that the BBC is both too left wing and too right wing. I listen to BBC Radio 4 every day of the week & I constantly shout at the radio (actually my phone) and tweet criticism, but I’d be lost without it, we all would.

About time. The BBC needs to be completely independent of Government - any Government. Quite why there have ever been political appointments to the Board is beyond many of us. theguardian.com/media/2025/nov…

Did Donald Trump spend his first Thanksgiving as president with Jeffrey Epstein? emily m dives into the Epstein e-mails, which suggest the convicted paedophile spent the 2017 holiday with Trump - years after Trump says he cut contact.

PS Starmer has enough problems in the UK court of public opinion already but allowing himself to be bullied by Trump over the BBC dispute wouldn't do him any favours. While it suits Trump to big up his BBC dispute to divert attention from his growing Epstein Files problem.
