After a final few weeks to say goodbye after 4 fantastic years in Astana, I am delighted to have the opportunity to take over from my great colleague Paul in Riga at the end of August. Tough to say goodbye to 🇰🇿 but looking forward to the new opportunity in 🇱🇻 !

My aim has been to pay an official visit to every Latvian district during my time in this beautiful country. It was great to learn more from the mayor and authorities in #Saulkrasti about their development plans, a visit that leaves me with just one district outstanding… 🇬🇧🇱🇻

In my last week UK in Latvia I’m delighted to have completed my promise to pay an official visit to every Latvian district during my posting. My final visit today is to #Limbaži. What better way to finish than watching wonderful 🇱🇻 textiles being made at Limbažu Tīnes. 🇬🇧🇱🇻
