Renewable energy in Ireland will be half the price of the nearest fossil fuel competitor in the upcoming renewable auction but, very frustratingly, it could be a quarter of the price if we had the right policies in place - we need to fix this for the next auction.

Now we need to turn our focus on price. The average auction price was half the price of the nearest fossil fuel competitor but we can do much better with the right policies in place. We need a Government task force focused on reducing the cost of renewables in Ireland asap.
