EPC is very close now. Looking forward to meeting everyone in person and all the amazing talks.
It's not too late to apply for my class on WFC and Tessera. Last chance before Paul Merrell's talk 'Beyond WaveFunctionCollapse' which will no doubt make it seem quaintπ
Paul Merrell Yes and no. It does scale this sample to 100x100, and I expect it'll work at any size. But it gets slower by an extra factor of n compared with modifying in parts as it needs larger and larger rollbacks to get to the same depth as the output gets wider.
Doing my part to share quality work. Graphs are everywhere, not just 3D scenes. Paul Merrell
What tools did you use to make such an awesome explainer video?

I'm traveling all the way to Europe to give a talk about my latest procedural modeling work. I'm excited for the conference and my first trip to the Netherlands! EverythingProcedural
Fascinating evolution of an already unique procedural modeling solution! Well done Paul Merrell and congratulations on your acceptance at SIGGRAPH.
Paul Merrell The way they develop like that is reminiscent of how this works, logarithmic.net/ghost.xhtml
Paul Merrell This one in particular is like a city layout if you make the parts smaller (zoom out), logarithmic.net/ghost.xhtml?BBβ¦
Paul Merrell This is awesome!
One major potential use in gamedev is if this new approach, along with the solutions described in the video for layout solving, could work in conjunction with level graphs.
Huge thanks to Paul Merrell, Maxim Gumin, Oskar StΓ₯lberg, BorisTheBrave & Marian for sharing their knowledge on this topic.
Definitely check them out if you want to learn more about ModelSyntehsis/WFC.
