I’m still an optimist. I truly believe that people want to be part of something bigger than themselves.  National Service is the solution.

District by district, person by person, we need to make our case directly to the American people. For me, that starts with our Veteran community.

Governor Hochul has delivered over and over for the Hudson Valley – bringing down housing costs, bolstering public safety, cleaning up our drinking water, and more. She’s hard-working. She’s a person of integrity. And she’s a fighter. I’m all in with Kathy Hochul.

It’s not enough to be against. We have to be clear on what we’re for. My first bill was an Affordability Agenda, focused on housing, healthcare, & groceries. And solutions for working people, not just billionaires.  If we show folks that split screen, we win every time.

Folks are already feeling the economic pressure.  Now Republicans want to raise the cost of healthcare for 20 MILLION Americans.  Millions more will lose coverage ENTIRELY.  This is a 5-alarm-fire. We can’t let them drown it out.  It's time to get LOUDER.

House Republicans are pushing Trump’s harmful and UN-AMERICAN agenda against the will of the people.  They know it’s unpopular. So they lie about it. They think we won’t notice.  They’re wrong.

I refuse to let our draft-dodging President lecture us about what it means to be a Patriot while he: ▪️ Cuts veterans’ health care ▪️ Insults Gold Star families ▪️ Installs an incompetent loyalist at the Defense Department   To my fellow veterans: it’s up to US to fight for US.

Politicians are elected to serve their communities – not themselves.  I’m fighting to end corruption and clean up D.C. Because NOTHING should come before the interests of the American people.

The Affordable Care Act was created to cover people who the insurance companies would rather leave behind.  Terminally ill children, the elderly, and those with rare diseases.  Trump’s plan will strip coverage from 4 million of them.

.Donald J. Trump & Secretary Brooke Rollins are literally taking food away from hungry kids, seniors & vets.  It’s despicable.  I’m rallying our community to DEMAND the funding gets restored.  The stakes are too high for anything less.

I served two combat tours in Iraq. Trump’s dangerous politicization of our military yesterday at Ft. Bragg crossed a bright red line. Our loyalty is to no man. Our loyalty is to the Constitution & our oath to protect and defend it against all enemies, foreign AND domestic.

These soldiers signed up to risk their lives for our country. Yesterday they showed up for a speech by our Commander-in-Chief. They were told if they didn't agree with Trump's politics, they couldn't participate. That's not the country I served 27 months in combat to defend.

Thank you Chairman Caine for your candor and your service to our country. Your voice in affirming we must maintain an apolitical military is more important than it’s ever been. Secretary Hegseth, your silence and complicity is disgraceful.

For 5 months, Pete Hegseth has refused to take ANY accountability for his incompetence and failures. Today he finally came in front of Congress and pathetically doubled down. Hegseth’s tenure has been shameful and weak. For the good of our troops, he must resign.

Every generation of American veterans knows an apolitical military is sacred.   Can you imagine any of our prior Commanders-in-Chief, from George Washington to Ronald Reagan, doing something like this?

I love our country 🇺🇸 Patriotism isn’t about allegiance to a political party or fealty to a political leader. The flag – and the values it stands for – belongs to every American.

Donald Trump has done more damage to our apolitical military just this week than every other President combined.
