Having been diagnosed with ADHD several months ago, it has given me greater insight into how I am during practice and as a whole. It's been very relieving to know why I am the way I am, and I'm excited to be an advocate for ADHD in the nursing profession.

So fulfilled with life through learning further about my profession and the industry I work in. Debating starting a vlog where I discuss my progression as a Student, and further when I qualify.

Have had everything signed off on my practice document, and with that, Year 1 has been completed. Roll on second year of the degree (after my visit to Australia & New Zealand)!

First day of placement completed in Denmark, what a phenomenal country with some really lovely people, could stay here permanently!

Really could not be more grateful for this opportunity to work on a placement in a foreign country and have such lovely people accept me into their place of work, as well as having such lovely patients that converse with me despite the language barrier, such a blessing.

So chuffed to say I've accepted a role in Older Adults MH as a Band 5 for when I qualify, way over a year to go but feels really good to have that for at the end of my journey

Everytime I feel demotivated or anything, just like to remind myself of how hard I worked to be in this position. Having started from an apprenticeship, worked to gain experience, did an access course, and now I'm here. Four years of work just to be studying nursing, can't stop

Five placements in and I'm starting to feel genuinely like I'm getting somewhere with the degree. Really enjoying the responsibility and taking the lead on patient care, feel less like a deer in headlights finally
