most people ive talked to when they identify as "moderate" imply that it isnt really about centrism for them. its more about social cohesion and everybody getting along. It's really the "everyone in the family needs to get along at thanksgiving and christmas" ideology.

Honestly I like Arch more than Debian/Ubuntu. It's not that much more difficult to learn imo. If you're using Linux anyway, you might as well be a little bit of a nerd, you know. and tbh its still easier than f'in Gentoo or independent distros like Alpine/Void
