10LPA is World Book Day ready!

Such a lovely weekend! Cosy video games, school trip to the theatre, strongwoman session at the gym (I pulled a 2 tonne jeep!), and an afternoon with my mummy. It’s the perfect start to the Easter holidays - only issue is the one week of school we have left!

Got to cross off "having to explain to my grandparents (again) that I still occasionally go into work in the holiday to catch up" of my Teacher-School-Holiday-Bingo-Card this afternoon!

Been making a slide for my revision session next week for too long. The word "earth" looks wrong and has no meaning any more!

The dinosaur dress is on which can only mean one thing, it’s biology paper 1 day!

On my way to the Isaac Physics question writing CPD and seen a polar bear from the train! (I promise I’m not on something, it’s just that my train goes past Jimmy Doherty)

Tomorrow is the start of my first ever CERN trip with year 10s. Pretty much everything that could go wrong in the planning has gone wrong, and today I absolutely stacked it at school so I’m covered in bruises. Hopefully that’s all the bad luck done and we can have a nice trip?

After my little tumble yesterday my leg is a bit swollen. Just been through the scanner at Gatwick security and they had to pat down the same part of my leg. Kind of proud that I fell over hard enough to be a potential flight risk!!

It may have been a very late night to get here, but waking up to this view makes things all the more worth it!

As teachers, we help support our students to be the best version of themselves. We also trash talked them when we were the first group to complete our robot!

A successful first full day in Switzerland. Lots of tuckered out students (and teachers!). And another exciting day of tours tomorrow!
