Whenever Giannis heard about Michael Redd’s franchise high 57 vs Utah, he would always whisper, “I will beat that.” Tonight he no longer has to whisper!

Congratulations to former Buck Mark Pope, Kentucky’s new MBB Head Coach. Mark studied to be a doctor while in the NBA. He started 45 regular season games for the 2001 Bucks on their way to the ECF. A very bright, high character gentleman.

Congratulations to USAB and the world game after a great Gold Medal Final in Paris. To think that all of this began in 1987 at the Milwaukee Arena as the Bucks won the first McDonald’s Cup, sparking the future ignition and explosion of the world wide game.

Words are hard to come by today. Prayers and condolences to Bob Uecker’s family. Bob’s soundtrack is indelible. His humor, everlasting. His charity, often unknown and always impactful. Our memories, stories and respect will last as long as we do.

News of Junior Bridgeman’s passing hits hard. Just last week, we collaborated at a business dinner meeting. As usual, Junior was engaging, brilliant and humble, delighting a rapt audience. The world’s light is much dimmer tonight. Prayers to his family and many friends.

Saddened to learn of Bob Wanek’s passing. The Bucks original Official Scorer and Crew Chief served over 50 years. He was a valued friend and an amazing NBA resource. Bob recorded the first points scored by a Buck (Jon McGlocklin) in 1968 and many points scored by Giannis.
