At Parktown High School for Girls, we foster skills that shape confident, eloquent, and convincing speakers. Our learners recently attended English oral moderation, and once again, the moderators were blown away by their excellence and poise. Well done, girls!

REGIONAL SCIENCE EXPO AND INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FAIR 2025 This year, 15 Grade 9 Parktown Girls were selected to exhibit their projects at the Regional Science Expo which took place on 2 August, at WITS. Our learners were awarded 3 bronze, 9 silver and 3 gold medals.

CROCHET AWAY On 1 August, the 67 Blankets team gathered for our latest counting day to tallying the scarves, blankets, and squares donated by the houses. In total, we counted 1359 items. We encourage everyone to continue crocheting!

Cultural News ORCHESTRA The Orchestra performed ‘Mamela’ at Friday's Cultural/Women's Day Assembly. They were joined by the Drumline and their performance shows their hard work and dedication to music. Well done!

On Friday, 8 August, our school hosted another successful blood drive. Each unit of blood collected means that 3 lives are saved. Thank you to all our learners and staff who contributed to this very important drive. We are thrilled to report that we collected 49 units of blood!
