Pupils were treated to a highly flammable and explosive 'Royal Society of Chemistry' Christmas show, delivered in the fine setting of the Great Hall, Bolton School. Pupils were amazed by the Hydrogen explosions, flying bottle rockets, coloured flames and burning methane bubbles!

Pupils attended Octagon Theatre to see an amazing production of The Jungle Book. Thank you to all the staff and actor who provided and amazing experience. #thisisAP🧑🏽‍🦲🐯🐻🐒

Our year 11 pupils had a memorable 'winter-wonderland' walk in lower-Rivington this week. Pupils visited the Liverpool Castle folly, and learned about it's history, and it's links with Viscount Leverhulme's estate, and his influence on the Bolton area. #thisisAP

Pupils were reflecting on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz. Pupils learned about the history of these camps, their relevance today, and how the misguided actions of individuals can have catastrophic consequences.
