Its that time again... The Community Spirit Volunteers will be out again on Saturday morning (6th August) litter picking. Meet in front of St Thomas' church at 10.00am suitably booted and prepared for the weather. We will supply hi-vis jackets, litter pickers and bags. Have fun.

A new defibrillator has been installed on the corner of The Boathouse restaurant, courtesy of The Boathouse management. This complements the unit installed on the side wall of Elephant Coffee.

Local historian Anthony Annakin-Smith is the speaker at our next meeting. He follows the clues to solve a 19th century mystery involving a local family. Neston Club, Station Road, Parkgate, 8pm Monday 16 January. All welcome.

Our next talk is at Neston Club on Monday 17 April at 8.00pm on Thomas Brassey, the great railway contractor, responsible for building a third of all the railways in Britain and one in 20 of the mileage of the world, given by Peter Bolt, secretary of the Thomas Brassey Society.

Book now via our website for our Neston Music Festival concert this Saturday 22 April, featuring the Wirral Symphony Brass in an eclectic programme of music - 7.30 pm at the United Reformed Church, Parkgate Road. Tickets £13 include interval refreshments.

There are still some tickets (£13) available for the Wirral Symphony Brass concert tomorrow (Saturday) at Parkgate & Neston United Reformed Church, Parkgate Road. These will be sold at the door. The concert starts at 7.30 pm - doors open from 7.00 pm.
