New work on MOCs from my PhD time. This was led by Woo Seok Lee, a PhD mentee in the MOC subgroup. In this work, he studies chalcogen alloying and its impact on the optical properties of MOCs. Congrats to the team. Will Tisdale Woo Seok Lee the Kulik Group. pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.102…
.Will Tisdale et al. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) MIT ChemE Dept use various micro/#spectroscopy methods to gain insights into the thermodynamic stability & #excitonic properties of mixed-#chalcogen silver phenylchalcogenides (AgE1–xExPh, 0 ≤ x ≤ 1; E = S, Se, Te). New work from my lab is now online. Here, we adopt a hot-injection synthesis method on metal organochalcogenide (MOC) semiconductor for the first time and discovered that MOC nanocrystals show a high hole mobility value. Check it out at advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad… VISTEC
Thanks to Wakamiya-sensei and his group. Got to visit his lab and listened to an inspiring story from precursor purification and controlled film growth to advances in perovskite solar cells and the future of perovskites. Wakamiya Lab. 京都大学 化学研究所 若宮研究室 ICR, Kyoto University 京都大学 VISTEC
