Just referred to head as anterior in a photo of an xray to my doctor spouse who looked at me like I was nuts. ApPaReNtLy anterior and posterior are human belly and back. I said that was ventral and dorsal but apparently those aren’t used to refer to humans 😭 RIP human D-V axis

The last bit of my grad work is finally out! We show a new role for Vangl in sculpting branching airways - but in a different way than you’d expect 🤗 Our data led us to propose a new model of airway smooth muscle-mediated airway expansion, wherein ASM actively dilates airways 🫁
