WeakAuras are/were an incredible tool that allowed countless people (including myself) to access the game in meaningful ways. I’ll never forget needing the colorblind helper in mythic Megatorque. Community driven, player focused.

Healers are extremely left out in Alpha atm with the baseline raid frames still being extremely outdated for modern healing. You can sort cds with the manager but you can't sort/reposition buffs/debuffs, can't tweak how dispels look, can't identify the size of your shield

Crazy. Wow ui is better but has a long way to go in 4 months from what it is on alpha. Can’t help but think they’re going a little too fast with this whole thing.

whatever your opinion on addons, wow's dominance in the genre is bc of addon support. it's the singular differentiating feature from every other mmo and the reason why wow was the only one to survive the 2000s. addons have fixed far more problems for blizz than they've created
