Starting to make master molds on this piece. I entered it along with several others in prestigious Contemporary Realism fine art Salon. Don't know if I'll get juried into the show, but best to be prepared in case I am. I'll make a master resin copy for eventual bronze edition.

On day 3 of a 5 day fast, which I do several times a year. Worst parts are boredom, disrupted sleep and obsessing about food as you try to fall asleep. Some very vivid and crazy dreams as well. I only eat once a day usually so it's easier for me than most people, still not fun.

Older work that never got produced because of production issues. From Frank Miller's graphic novel 300. Small work, 7 inches tall, sculpted in wax. I never enjoyed working in scales this small. Tedious. There are maybe 2 copies in existence.

My bronze, 'I Am' has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the 17th annual Art Renewal Society Salon, an important competition for artists worldwide working in Contemporary Realism. Finalists will be announce in December and final judging for prizes in January 2025.

My recent project, "Crimson Mist" on its marble base. Bronze numbered limited edition of 5 castings. Just finished shooting the glam photos of the last copy available.

I enjoy mowing the yard out at my studio. It's kind of Zen-like, my mind goes blank except for my desire to make my work as neat as possible. It takes 1 1/2 to 2 hrs depending on height. Related, based on my observations, most ppl who use a riding mower should use a walk-behind.

It's Sunday and this is where I am at 7am for the scared mysteries of the holy Mass every week. A beautiful building that celebrates our Lord as we are called by our priest to be humble, grateful and responsible in life's journey. I'm blessed. Go to church.

Thre's a Harry Potter festival in my town all weekend. Oddballs and freaks from all over the country come here and do scavenger hunts and engage in other retarded fandom. It's actually sort of cool, just not my thing. Worst part is navigating the zombies as they stroll around.
