This is an #InstantNeRF If you asked a CG artist to photoscan a mirror ball or transparent bottle, they'd laugh at you and (correctly) say it's impossible. Photogrammetry can't deal with reflective surfaces and require a LOT of work to fix. Do you see potential of NeRF yet?

📷 Almost 100 images to render #Whymper #glacier with NVIDIA AI Developer #InstantNeRF during this summer. No residual snow on the side rock walls (4100 m), but the dots on the surface were us drilling 11 meters of accumulation from different seasons, mainly carried by the wind. ❄️
