Peanut Acres Hit 34 Year High - U.S. Farmers planted an estimated 1.9 million acres of peanuts in 2025. If realized, this would mark the largest peanut plantings since 1991. If true, experts anticipate 34% increase in ending stocks from the prior year. buff.ly/UZX93wf

Reminder to horse owners to supplement salt during the summer. Horses can lose more than 2.5 gallons of water per hour when exercising on hot & humid days. They lose important minerals that can be supplemented to horses by providing access to salt. buff.ly/E1cZudU

Cotton prices continue in the 67¢ to 71¢ range. Nothing has pushed prices higher for months. Farmers looking for opportunities in the 70’s, but it’s been an agonizing journey. Use has increased but has yet to translate into stronger prices. buff.ly/DEUMemF
