According to module 4 of WISEMS, @KScharfenkamp Professor Pam and Lara Lesch organized a workshop on „Perception of (women) sport leaders in the media“ at the annual meeting of the German Association of Sport Economics & Sport Management in Innsbruck (Austria)

After an input presentation outlining normative expectations regarding researchers‘ presence in the media, @KScharfenkamp presented further empirical evidence on gender differences in the perception of men and women researchers in sport economics/management/sociology.

Afterwards, a panel of 4 women researchers in the field discussed their own experiences with (social media) and gave fruitful recommendations.
