Well done H Quinn-Scoggins !😃👏🌟

Join our Associate Director Dr Natalie Joseph-Williams to hear how the Health and Care Research Wales Evidence Centre research is helping to improve health and care in Wales Thursday 21st March at 7pm Register here: cardiff.ac.uk/medicine/about… Health and Care Research Wales

Really enjoyed hosting our first online research involvement workshop to members of the public with my fantastic colleague Bob McAlister! Lots of valuable discussions and learning to take forward for improving diversity in Patient and Public Involvement #PPI DPM Wales Cancer Research Centre

Highlighting our Yorkshire Cancer Research funded Yorkshire Enhanced Stop Smoking Study: an offer of integrated stop smoking support to people attending for lung cancer screening is accepted by a broad range of participant demographics and should be routinely offered as part of the national screening programme

Has lack of clarity around the difference between public involvement/engagement and research involving human participants led to researchers seeking ethical approval for PI ‘just in case’? With case examples, our latest paper offers some solutions researchinvolvement.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

Thanks for a very informative and interesting meeting Health and Care Research Wales - lots to think about and really great to meet and hear from other members of the Alliances! Diolch 🙌

👏👏 Great to bring together like-minded colleagues from across Cardiff University School of Medicine with a passion and wealth of #PPIE expertise to share and avoid duplication of activity. Looking forward to our next meeting in September 🙌🏻

We are here at the Minority Ethnic Communities Health Fair Cardiff City FC today talking about the research we support and the importance of PPI - pop in and say hello!
