The performance of Macbeth at The Other Place in Stratford was an unforgettable experience. From the atmosphere to the acting and the entire ensemble, everything was perfectly coordinated.

Every actor fully embodied their role, and being so close to the stage made you feel completely immersed in the action – it was truly captivating. Particularly impressive was Sam Heughan’s portrayal of Macbeth.

His stage presence is overwhelming: the moment he steps on stage, you immediately feel the intensity of his performance. Between passion, madness, and the transformation of his character as Macbeth, he completely captivates the audience.

Even for someone like me, who had little prior experience with Shakespeare, it was an experience that opened up new perspectives. I began exploring the play more deeply, watching films, and reading, and I’m grateful that this performance sparked my interest in Shakespeare.
