We got rain!

Another day with no rain. However the wind is really strong. Thought I would capture a picture of the dirt moving. It looked like a fire how quickly it was moving but was really just top soil blowing today. Mother Nature needs to turn on the tap soon and help us out.

Had to spray a seed canola field for both cutworms and flea beetles yesterday. Cutworms love the pea thatch and have eaten lots of plants already. First time we’ve ever had issues with cutworms.

It only took 5 hours to seed Core Ag Inputs - White Butte Canola variety trail. And 5 days to post about it. The wind and smoke didn’t help, the hound kept trying to fly away. We got all 9 varieties planted. We are evaluating on many aspects, height, maturity, pod retention, and more.
