Our students had an incredible experience visiting Jesus College, Cambridge, where they explored the world of higher education! They gained valuable insights into different colleges and courses, learning firsthand about academic life at one of the world’s top universities.

We celebrated Pi Day on Thursday this week with a number of mathematical events across the school, including, a ‘favourite number’ challenge, a treasure hunt, crossnumber puzzles and competitions, a reciting pi challenge, different Maths games and a Rubik’s cube competition.

Year 12 physics students enjoyed rocket launches in the playground! This is a part of a competition which will see them hearing from Helen Sharman, the first UK astronaut!

What an inspirational speech from Dakarai! We had the chance to have Alain Clapham at our school this week! Alain had an incredible personal story of overcoming moments of great personal frustration.

Last week, we enjoyed a visit from our local MP, Georgia Gould. She met our Head Boy and Head Girl for a discussion and then spoke about politics to a group of Year 7s,9s, 10s and 12s. She spoke passionately about young people involving themselves in politics and voting!

Our Year 10 students made a fantastic impression today as they took part in interviews with external companies! Dressed in professional business attire, they showcased their confidence, skills, and ambition for the future.

Year 12 Business students had a great time at the ZSL London Zoo! 🦒 🦓 The primary objective of the visit was to gain a deeper understanding of ZSL’s marketing strategies and operational functions.

Our Year 12 students are taking their next steps with confidence—networking with industry professionals and gaining real-world skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom. From communication and teamwork, to leadership and problem-solving!

This term, our Year 7 students have been learning about the origins of Judaism, along with key beliefs and practices. To bring their learning to life, they visited a Jewish place of worship — a fantastic opportunity to see their classroom knowledge in action!

Year 9 enjoyed a trip to Covington and Burling thanks to the IntoUniversity charity!

Last weekend, our Year 12 students took on the challenge of their Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition—and what an adventure it was! Armed with only maps, compasses, and teamwork, they navigated their way across the countryside to reach their destination.

Students in Y9 worked with British Land and Urban Plan on a regeneration project. Students worked towards criteria and presented their plans to the volunteers. The winning team will be going to City Hall for a celebration event and includes a ride on the cable card.
