After some deep reflection this weekend, here's my open letter to Open AI:

My last startup failed.

Through it, we turned down $250K in cash, almost raised an $8M Series A, and almost got acquired for $14M.

But 'almost' is like shooting a 3 and hitting the rim. You get no points, just a fun story:

1) Focus on fundraising above all else.

2) Grow your team faster than your revenue.

3) Pretend you’re a big company and act like one.

4) Sell a dollar for 90 cents so you can ramp up growth.

5) Whenever there's a problem, throw some money at it.

2. Go all in and don't look back.
