Here's some social nature: Every powerful group will develop fixer-pimps archetypes within as well as other more benign devices to procure its weak members of basic emotional supplies like sex (without which the group psyche breaks into no procreative potential).

Make no mistake, marriage is another one of these devices.

The micro level operation of these social devices are easy to spot at any harder-than-water place. We have a basic name for it because it's a basic thing. Vice. It will always hold hands with social power.

Also, how boring a world are we trying to delusionaly project if we believe powerful people shouldn't be tempted with vice by those under them trying to pull ahead? Carrot and shame-stick keeps alot of the world moving.

This doesn't exist: a group of powerful people are somewhere and no one tries to get things from them the easy way. Maybe there's no vice-lord in the room. Yet... The archetype is still there, being dreamt-forward into the next moment by the weaker.
