The 2024 Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association (PWCA) All-Academic teams for both boys and girls were recently released. The full list of wrestlers who excelled in the classroom AND on the mat this past season can be seen at pwcaonline.com/all-academic

Penn State (with the Happy Valley Sports and Entertainment Alliance) submitted a bid to host individual wrestling. PIAA's Bob Lombardi said the Giant Center financial package was better. PIAA also had concerns about Penn State charging for parking, among some other items.

The #PIAA received no bids to host the state team wrestling championship, so that is still to be determined. One bid was received to host competitive spirit but it was not accepted, so that site is also TBD.

PIAA individual championships will stay in Hershey for the next 4 seasons.
