The LETRINT project (funded by Swiss National Science Foundation) is pleased to launch two interactive resources: the 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧-𝗤 corpus query interface and “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮” infographic. Both are freely accessible!

Oggi, invece, ho incontrato il team del progetto It-Ist_CH, diretto dalla Prof. Angela Ferrari all’Università di Basilea. Abbiamo discusso dell’utilizzo di tecnologie per l’analisi linguistica basata su corpus e dell’utilità di adottare metodi misti, quantitativi e qualitativi.

Yesterday, I presented a poster and a paper on clarity in legal and institutional language and translation at the Transius Conference 2022 (#TC22). I really enjoyed the stimulating discussions!

Just before the lunch break, our very own Paolo Canavese explains the impact of the work of institutional translators on legislative Italian as observed in a multilingual corpus of Swiss federal legal acts adopted between 1974 and 2018.
