Congrats to Pathways to Apprenticeship inaugural cohort for NYCHA Comp Mod Dept. This training will place NYCHA residents into union apprenticeships. P2A featured participants from Gowanus Houses, St. Nicholas Houses, Todt Hill Houses, & Wyckoff Gardens. Public Housing Community Fund nychajournal.nyc/first-graduate…

Funded by Public Housing Community Fund in partnership with NYCHA Comprehensive Modernization, Pathways to Apprenticeship participants were from developments selected for capital renovations. Comp Mod utilizes capital funding to rehabilitate NYCHA buildings with a union workforce such as Laborers Local 79.


2 years ago on Oct 22, 2021 NYS Gov signed into law our #RealReentry package. This was 1st in the nation legislation; prior to its signing there was no existing law that protected the right of a person under supervised release to protest work-related labor conditions. Laborers Local 79


NJRC was awarded innovative Norma Dolcater grant with Pathways to Apprenticeship & NJRC. P2A seeks to end poverty by providing proven pre-apprenticeship training for building trades apprenticeships, to transform lives. Today, NJRC offered our first class for re-entry justice-involved persons.
